Happy Halloween!!!

OK finally (Brenan....who has waited so "patiently") here are some pictures from our Halloween night!! Lesha was a little chinese girl by day and chicken by night. Troy brought back the kids the chinese outfits from china town in Victoria, BC. They are so cute! I will have to get pictures of the boys in their costumes later.
The boys ended up being what they were last year since they still fit the costumes and wanted to be them again. Mason was a clone tropper and Keston was Batman. I was the classic witch that I have been for about five years now. Great costume I picked up while I was in Florida five years ago. Troy took the kids around to the neighbourhood houses and came back with an enourmous amount of candy!!! Way too much!! They had so much fun as usual though!!!

I even put lipstick on Lesha! She loved it!

Micah and Aric brought Jack-the-monkey over to visit!! Ivy was even his little banana!!

I made caramel popcorn balls

I spray painted some pumpkins, but it took quite a few coats and a lot of fumes....hey maybe that is why i liked doing it....

Mason's 7th Birthday!

Mason turned seven years old. I can't believe seven years have gone by already! Seven just sounds really old to me. Anyway, we had a family birthday party on the 29th, his actual birthday. Then, we had a friends birthday party on the following friday. I stuffed toy animals with eight boys and lesha watching. It was pretty wild, but it was fun! Mason loves the party scene!! Happy Birthday Mason!

I thought this was a cute idea: Mason's grade 1 class each wrote something nice about him on a poster and gave it to me him on that day of school. Mason liked it too!

September Happenings...

My BFF Krista came to visit me with her wonderful family. It was such a good visit (as always). Even though our lives are so busy right now, we can always pick up right where we left of when we get together or talk on the phone. You are the best Krista! Love you! Hey, I am craving some homemade tomato cream sauce and meatballs. Could you come make me dinner again? :)

I love Lucy!! My sister-in-law, Melanie, had a baby girl. She is so cute and such a good baby!

Keston's first day of preschool (2nd year). He looks so big to me in this picture!!

Mason's first day of Grade 1!!! I can't believe he is that big already!! He was so excited and ready to start school again after the summer! His best buddy, Shaye, from his kindergarten class ended up being in his grade 1 class, so that was even better!

Carmen, my other sister-in-law, is getting married this Saturday (October 10, 2009). I went to her bridal shower and this was her cake that her friend, Amanda, made. AMAZING!!!

Melanie and I at the shower.

The summer is gone...

Mallory and Kam came up for their one year anniversary. It was so fun to see them!

August highlights

Since Troy's dad now has his realtor licence, we decided to be in the Cardston parade to do some advertizing. It was fun, but we ran out of candy half way through the parade. Not good. Oh well, we learned for next time...

Dallin came to live with us for a couple of weeks. He worked doing jobs for Troy and his rental properties and odd jobs here and there. He even did some landscaping work for me in my own yard! Thanks Dallin!!

The Cardston Show 'n Shine was another fun event we went to.

This was Lesha's favorite car because it was pink.

More summer highlights of 2009

We had a really fun trip to UTAH. The pictures of Mckay that I will post are obviously when he was just a few weeks old. He is now 4 months old and looks so much bigger and different now. It was fun to be able to stay for a whole week and really have a good visit!

One of the nights we went out to dinner all together at The Brick Oven. Yum!

and of course the Dinosaur museum....

We even went to the Oacre Mountian Temple open house! That was incredible! What a beautiful setting for the temple! It was so neat to take my family through!

Beth's sister took an amazing pictures of our family all together. It has been a long time since we have been able to ALL get together for one. I don't have that picture on my computer, but I will post that later.

HIghlights continued....

Ok I am going to try this again...

Here is Mason and I at his kindergarted class for MOther's Day 2009

Troy surprised me with a new piano for my Mother's Day gift!!! I was so excited and really surprised too!! I love it!! It is beautiful and plays like a dream.....ahhhhhh I am so happy to have that in my home!!

Lisa, my sister-in-law, got engaged to Ron. He is a great guy and we all love him! He is great for Lisa too! They are getting married in May of 2010 in Turks and Caicos, which will be a fun trip for sure!!

Mason got in an "accident" while Troy was pulling him in a cub car thing behind the quad....yea explain that one...

My neice, Alexi, had open heart surgery. It was successful, but all very stressful on us all!!

June: Over the summer we went to different spray parks and swimming pools

Mason played coach pitch and Troy was the coach. Keston was the bat boy near the end of the season.

Happy Father's Day!!!

I turned 30...sshhhhhh!! It was so fun though! Troy took me to Banff and treated me like a princess!! It was sooooo much fun!! The spa was a definite highlight!!

Lesha went on her first airplane ride down to Utah. We went down for Mckay's baby blessing. She loved the airplane!

Mother's Day at Keston's preschool

I went to MOther's day at Mason's kindergarted class on the same day too.

Lesha is 2 years old!!!!

Thank you Auntie Mallory and Uncle Kam for the cutest apron in the world!!! Lesha loves it and is wearing it all day everyday!! I have to make her take it off to go to bed at night!! It is adorable!!!

Lesha loves playing with her baby gear that she got for her birthday!! She is such a little mother!!

This is the cake that turned out very different than what I had thought it was going to turn out to look like for Lesha's birthday cake. The kids thought it was awesome, so that is all that matters right?!! All they ate were the sprinkles and the icing anyway!!

Keston and his funny faces....he cannot just smile "nicely"....lol!!

Easter Break

Mason and Keston had a week off from school so we decided to go to Fairmont Hot Springs together as a family. The warm pools are amazing!! I love how warm they are and that there is no chlorine in the pools!! I didn't feel like I came away with a disease like I do when I go in regular swimming pools!! Chlorine and I do not mix well!!!
The kids loved swimming around in the water! Even Lesha is becoming really comfortable in the water! They all love the water!!
We could only stay in the water so long and then we would have to go back to our villa or find something else to do. Actually, I did not find Fairmont that great of a vacation spot. In my opinion there wasn't much to do. It was still quite chilly outside so we didn't do any hiking. There wasn't any other ammenities around. We even had to drive twenty minutes to the closest grocery store! The worst part was that we listened to a time share presentation and the guy was BRUTAL!!! That morning that we had to listen to that was definitely a real damper to the get-away!!
All in all we had a relaxing and fun time! The kids had a blast, but we won't be going back there in a hurry!!!

This was at a place called "Funtasia". It is a petting zoo, mini golf, and bumper car little place. It cost us $77 for us to go there!! Yeah, like I said we were pretty desperate and this was one of our options for entertainment! Once again the kids thought it was awesome....I am so glad!!! Ha ha ha! I am not trying to complain...it was actually cute how much the kids liked to see the animals that were starving and trying to get out of the cages they were behind!! Good times!!!
