Lesha is 2 years old!!!!

Thank you Auntie Mallory and Uncle Kam for the cutest apron in the world!!! Lesha loves it and is wearing it all day everyday!! I have to make her take it off to go to bed at night!! It is adorable!!!

Lesha loves playing with her baby gear that she got for her birthday!! She is such a little mother!!

This is the cake that turned out very different than what I had thought it was going to turn out to look like for Lesha's birthday cake. The kids thought it was awesome, so that is all that matters right?!! All they ate were the sprinkles and the icing anyway!!

Easter Break

Mason and Keston had a week off from school so we decided to go to Fairmont Hot Springs together as a family. The warm pools are amazing!! I love how warm they are and that there is no chlorine in the pools!! I didn't feel like I came away with a disease like I do when I go in regular swimming pools!! Chlorine and I do not mix well!!!
The kids loved swimming around in the water! Even Lesha is becoming really comfortable in the water! They all love the water!!
We could only stay in the water so long and then we would have to go back to our villa or find something else to do. Actually, I did not find Fairmont that great of a vacation spot. In my opinion there wasn't much to do. It was still quite chilly outside so we didn't do any hiking. There wasn't any other ammenities around. We even had to drive twenty minutes to the closest grocery store! The worst part was that we listened to a time share presentation and the guy was BRUTAL!!! That morning that we had to listen to that was definitely a real damper to the get-away!!
All in all we had a relaxing and fun time! The kids had a blast, but we won't be going back there in a hurry!!!

This was at a place called "Funtasia". It is a petting zoo, mini golf, and bumper car little place. It cost us $77 for us to go there!! Yeah, like I said we were pretty desperate and this was one of our options for entertainment! Once again the kids thought it was awesome....I am so glad!!! Ha ha ha! I am not trying to complain...it was actually cute how much the kids liked to see the animals that were starving and trying to get out of the cages they were behind!! Good times!!!

Easter Fun

The kids had fun dying easter eggs. We had about three dozen eggs total and they could have kept going too! Mason and Keston had done this before and were completely into it! This was Lesha's first time and was loving every minute! She wanted to do whatever the boys were doing....of course. We took these eggs to Grandma and Grandpa Klain's house on Easter Sunday, but didn't end up doing anything with them. We were supposed to roll them down some hill somewhere, but they just ended up being decoration for the table at Grandma's house.

It is so NOT nice outside!!!!

Oh my goodness!!! I am so grumpy that it has snowed today!! It was so nice even earlier today and the last couple days (except for the wind) and then it had to SNOW!!! I am so annoyed!! Hopefully it won't stay long! Sometimes I wonder why I live here in crazy-southern-alberta-weather!!!
Today was Lesha's 2nd birthday!! I can't believe she is really two years old already!! I have pictures on my camera, but am a little bit sleepy so I will post them tomorrow sometime....

It is FINALLY nice outside!!!

I took the kids to Mason's school park today since it was beautiful outside....FINALLY!!! I hope it will stay for good though!! I do not want to see anymore snow until next Christmas! Anyway, they had fun playing at the playground today in the sun!

CUTE nephew!!

Micah and baby Jack came over for a visit today. Micah decided to let Jack try bananas for the first time and he loved them! He is so cute!! I love him to pieces!!

My friend Krista Kenessy came from Abbotsford, BC to stay with me for a couple of days! I was so glad she could come since last time she planned to come her great husband, Dan, got really sick and couldn't make it! We had such an amazing time together! With Krista, it doesn't matter when we last saw each other; we always can just pick up from where we left off and have fun no matter what! Krista is an incredible woman and I am priviledged to have her as a great friend!
We stayed in Calgary at Carmen's house one night and went shopping the day after. Shopping is one thing that I really like to do, but shopping with company can sometimes be difficult for me. However, shopping with Krista was so much fun!! I had fun just listening to her interact with different people! Every shop we went into was a completely fun and entertaining experience!! OK that sounds weird, but shopping with Krista was a lot of fun!!
Krista showed me how to make spaghetti and meatballs and Chicken Parmesan from scratch! They were both delicious!! Thank you Krista!!
From shopping, to cooking, to late night movies, and late night "therapy sessions", and laughing of course....I had a great weekend!!!
